Hog Roast Winchester Is Here To Make Your Wedding Day Special – No Matter The Season!

Hog Roast WinchesterWe all love a sunny summer wedding, right? But, if you ask us, there’s something about a winter celebration that just hits differently. The cool air, the cosy atmosphere, the deep colours and that little spark of festive excitement make the whole day feel like it’s wrapped in its own kind of enchantment. So when Jess and Josh invited us to be part of their wedding on the 29th of November at the beautiful Weeke Community Centre on Taplings Road, we didn’t need to be asked twice – we were buzzing for it.

Weddings always carry a bit of magic. But having Hog Roast Winchester behind the scenes adds a stress-free touch that makes the day go a whole lot smoother. We know better than most that food is such a central piece of your big day. And knowing it’s handled lets everyone breathe a little easier and stay in their wedding bubble without worrying about anything beyond enjoying themselves.

For this wedding, Jess and Josh chose our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which couldn’t have been a better fit for the 105 guests gathering on a chilly evening. They picked out a trio of crowd-pleasing meats comprising juicy BBQ pork butt, ridiculously tender Texan 24-hour brisket and Cajun-spiced whole roasted chickens. With those options, no guest was left searching for a favourite – every plate looked different, but equally tempting.

Hog Roast WinchesterTo balance out all that meaty goodness Hog Roast Winchester served up glazed seasonal veg, creamy mac and cheese and a hearty mix of sweet potato and classic fries sprinkled with salt and splashed with vinegar. Sauces were lined up too, so everyone could jazz things up however they liked.

Once the evening rolled on and guests shifted from dancing to grazing, we brought out the antipasti spread Jess and Josh had asked for specially. It was a proper feast of cured meats, cheeses, olives, dips and rustic breads – ideal for drifting back and forth to munch on while catching up with old friends. And with the temperature dropping outside, our tea and coffee service was a hit with pretty much everyone.

The whole day unfolded beautifully, and it was a privilege to help fuel the fun. If you’re tying the knot soon and want food that’ll be remembered just as fondly as your vows, Hog Roast Winchester would love to help make it happen.
