December 13th was a night to remember at Cladco’s Andover branch. The UK’s leading supplier of metal roofing, composite fencing, cladding, and decking – basically, everything that turns a house into a home – decided it was time to swap tools for forks and celebrate in style.
Enter Hog Roast Andover – ready to deliver the festive feast everyone had been dreaming of.
Our catering manager, Alistair, took charge of this event and spent hours lovingly preparing a whole free-range hog. And let us tell you, that crackling didn’t just happen by magic – but it was pure, golden perfection. To complement the star of the show, Hog Roast Andover whipped up sage and onion stuffing and a huge batch of homemade sweet applesauce. Because, seriously, what’s a hog roast without those classics?
For those who prefer a plant-based option (or just wanted to try something different), Hog Roast Andover had rolled out our vegan pulled jackfruit. Steeped in smoky hickory BBQ sauce and tucked into soft buns with a crunchy, zesty slaw, it was so good, even the meat-lovers couldn’t resist sneaking a bite.
And, as you all know by now, no feast is complete without a few tasty sides (and this one didn’t disappoint!). Hog Roast Andover gave these guests plenty of options to pick from, including: tomato and mozzarella salad; fresh mixed salad and classic creamy coleslaw. And when it came to potatoes? We nailed it with freshly made traditional chips, sweet potato fries or a mix of both, served with salt, vinegar, and a variety of Sauce Shop sauces. To make things extra easy, everything was served on wooden disposable 
plates with matching cutlery – so mingling, laughing, and nibbling could happen all at once without any fuss.
By the time the 8 pm serving time rolled around, 60 hungry Cladco team members were digging in, swapping stories, and thoroughly enjoying a festive evening full of cheer thanks in no small part to Hog Roast Andover. It was the perfect way to unwind after a busy year, celebrate accomplishments, and get everyone in the holiday spirit.
