There’s nothing quite like a BBQ to bring people together – especially when the food is this good! On a sunny afternoon in Portsmouth, the fantastic team at Hog Roast Portsmouth rolled up to London Road ready to transform an ordinary corporate event into a full-blown flavour fest.
With Catering Manager Jack leading the way, we served up our ever-popular Gourmet BBQ Menu to 60 guests, each one ready to tuck into a generous plate of grilled deliciousness. The menu? Oh, just a mouth-watering mountain of BBQ favourites: handmade British beef burgers, chef’s own gourmet sausages, juicy Thai chicken kebabs, and tender BBQ marinated spareribs. Every bite was packed with smoky, savoury goodness, finished off with the classic combo of fried onions and melted cheese for those who wanted the full experience.
Guests grabbed their favourites from a spread of fresh bread rolls and wraps, including wholemeal and gluten-free options, so everyone could build their perfect BBQ plate.
For the plant-based crew, our homemade vegan burgers hit the spot, alongside grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (with vegan swaps available, of course). Served with tzatziki and a sweet chilli sauce, this option was so tasty, even the meat-eaters were tempted!
Sides made the meal shine even brighter – colourful Greek salad, crunchy gourmet coleslaw, and fresh green leaf salad balanced the BBQ mains beautifully. And let’s not forget the fries: a golden mix of traditional and sweet potato, served with a selection of sauces (and yes, salt and vinegar for the chip purists!).
As always, we dished everything up on eco-friendly wooden bamboo crockery, complete with wooden cutlery and quality napkins – sustainable, stylish, and easy to enjoy while mingling.
From the first sizzle to the last bite, this corporate gathering was an absolute hit – and we were thrilled to serve a BBQ spread that brought everyone together, no boardroom required.
